\u201cO righteous God, who searches minds and
\nhearts, bring to an end the violence of the
\nwicked, and make the righteous secure.\u201d
\nPsalm 7:9<\/p>\n
Sights and sounds of evil are anguish to a
\npious heart. They pain him, because they are
\nabhorrent to his new nature. He turns from
\nthem as images of Satan; he loathes them
\nas rebellion against God. Hence he burns
\nwith desire that they may be repressed.
\nHence he wearies heaven with cries that
\nGod would drive iniquity into outer darkness.<\/p>\n
But evil will not die until our Lord returns!<\/p>\n
Only then shall the wickedness of the wicked
\nreach its end. Faith waits expectantly for the
\nblissful reign; it visits in anticipating thought
\nthe new heavens and the new earth.<\/p>\n
In heaven, there is no form of sin;
\nits hideous features are forever gone.<\/p>\n
The reign of righteousness has come.<\/p>\n
Each heart is holy.<\/p>\n
Each look reflects God\u2019s image.<\/p>\n
Every sound is pure.<\/p>\n
All is transcendent happiness, for all is holiness.<\/p>\n
No evil will pollute the glorious scene.<\/p>\n
Outside is sin and all sin\u2019s slaves. Within is the
