Its<br \/>\nrealization opens springs of joy in the cheerless waste<br \/>\nof this desert world. The Divine presence . . .<br \/>\ndissipates the thickest darkness,<br \/>\nsoothes the anguish of the keenest affliction, and<br \/>\nlightens the heaviest load of poverty and distress.<\/p>\n<p>Reader, be anxious to possess an abiding consciousness<br \/>\nof the great truth\u2014<em>that the eye of God is ever upon you!<\/em><br \/>\nWherever you are, and whatever you are doing\u2014set the<br \/>\nLord always before you.
