{"id":6109,"date":"2021-11-14T23:40:19","date_gmt":"2021-11-14T23:40:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shoalhavengospelchurch.org.au\/?p=6109"},"modified":"2021-11-14T23:40:19","modified_gmt":"2021-11-14T23:40:19","slug":"bulletin-edition-november-2021-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.shoalhavengospelchurch.org.au\/?p=6109","title":{"rendered":"Bulletin Edition November 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The Brazen Serpent<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\u201cAs Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness (Num.\n21:4-9), even so must the Son of man be lifted up\u201d (John 3:14).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preachers are like the pole to which Moses fastened the brazen\nserpent. Our only function, our only usefulness is to hold up Christ crucified\nbefore sinners. The Gospel we preach is Jesus Christ. We do not merely preach a\nChrist centered gospel. Christ is the gospel we preach. There is a huge\ndifference. That man must not be considered a faithful Gospel preacher who does\nnot preach Christ; and any sermon that does not tell immortal souls how God\nsaves guilty sinners in and by Christ Jesus is not a Gospel sermon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Don Fortner<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>THY FAITH HATH SAVED THEE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThy faith hath saved thee\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;(Luke\n18:42). We know that strictly speaking, it is not our faith that saved us.\nFaith did not keep the law for me. Christ did! Faith did not die on the cross\nfor my sins. Christ did! Faith was not raised from the dead, Christ was! Yet\nthe Lord says, \u201cThy faith hath saved thee.\u201d Why does the Saviour put this high\nhonor on our faith? Because faith looks to Christ alone! It rests in Him only,\nand looks nowhere else! It gives all the honor of salvation to Christ! A faith\nthat does not do that is not saving faith to begin with. Christ puts such honor\non faith because true faith puts all honor on HIM!&nbsp;\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>Pastor Todd\nNibert<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>~~~~~~~O~~~~~~~<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No one has ever found the\ntrue interpretation of any passage of scripture until they have found in it\nsomewhere a revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ is the message and the\nsubject of all the scriptures. \u201cAnd beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he\nexpounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.\u201d (Luke\n24:27) That is why we preach, \u201cChrist and Him crucified. The Bible, God\u2019s\ninspired Word, is truly a \u201crevelation of Jesus\nChrist.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>Pastor\nDavid Eddmenson<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Behold His precious Gift transfixed to it!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Octavius Winslow, &#8220;Morning Thoughts&#8221;)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;He that spared not His own Son, but delivered<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;also freely give us all things?&#8221;&nbsp; Romans 8:32<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Look at the cross!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Behold His precious Gift transfixed to it,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and that by His own hand, and for your sins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then look at your present circumstances, survey . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; your needs,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; your trials,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; your chastisements,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; your bereavements,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; your heart sickening, heartbreaking tribulations,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and know that God still is love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If He had love strong enough, deep enough, to give<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>you Jesus; to tear Him, as it were, from His bosom,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and to transfix Him on yonder accursed tree for your<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>iniquities; has He not love enough to bow His ear<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>to your cry, and His heart to your sorrow?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Will He not . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; rescue you from this difficulty,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; deliver you out of this trouble,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; shield you in this temptation,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; supply this need,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; support and comfort you in this grief?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oh yes, He will! doubt it not!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cross of Calvary is a standing pledge; standing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>until sin and guilt, need and woe, shall be known no<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>more; that God, who &#8220;spared not His own Son, but<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>delivered Him up for us all, will with Him also freely<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>give us all things&#8221; necessary to our good, and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>promotive of His glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>At the cross alone<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(J. Philpot, &#8220;Meditations on the Blessed Redeemer&#8221;)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Jesus has become our wisdom and our righteousness<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;and sanctification and redemption.&#8221; 1 Corinthians\n1:30<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Jesus Christ, through which the world has been<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;crucified to me, and I to the world.&#8221; Galatians 6:14<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An experimental knowledge of crucifixion with his<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>crucified Lord, made Paul preach the cross\u2014not only<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>in its power to save, but in its power to sanctify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cross is not only the meritorious cause of all<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>salvation\u2014but is the instrumental cause of all<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>sanctification. As there is no other way of salvation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>than by the blood of the cross\u2014so there is no other<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>way of holiness than by the power of the cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through the cross, that is, through union and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>communion with Him who suffered upon it, not<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>only is there a fountain opened for all sin\u2014but<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>for all uncleanness!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All our . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; pardon and peace,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; acceptance and justification,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; happiness and holiness,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; wisdom and strength,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; victory over the world,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; mortification of the body of sin and death,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; hope and confidence,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; prayer and praise,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; gracious feelings,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; spiritual desires,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; warm supplications,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; honest confessions,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; godly sorrows for sin,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>spring from the cross!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the cross alone can we . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; be made wise unto salvation,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; become righteous by a free justification,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; receive of His Spirit to make us holy, and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; be redeemed and delivered from . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; sin, Satan, death and hell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To the cross we are to bring . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; our sorrows,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; our trials,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; our temptations,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; our sufferings,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>to get life from His death,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>pardon and peace from His atoning blood,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>justification from His divine obedience, and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>resignation to the will of God from His holy example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the cross alone is . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; the world crucified to us, and we to the world;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; sin mortified, and its reigning power dethroned;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; the old man crucified and put off, and the new man put\non.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the most part, it is only through a long series of . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; afflictions,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; bereavements,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; disappointments,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; vexations,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; illnesses,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; pains of body and mind,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; hot furnaces, and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; deep waters,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>as sanctified to his soul&#8217;s profit by the Holy Spirit,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>that the child of God comes to the cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the experience of every Christian there are many\nfluctuations. At one time, grace is in lively exercise, and the soul is filled\nwith peace in believing. At another time, the divine life seems to languish,\nand gloomy fears prevail. There are seasons when the tide of assurance reaches,\nwhat may be called, high-water mark; and the believer, basking in the full\nsunshine of God&#8217;s reconciled countenance, is enabled to rejoice with exceeding\njoy! Precious moments, when faith is vigorous, when hope is bright and beaming,\nand when love fills the heart even to overflowing! But soon, alas! the scene\nchanges. The spiritual sky is overcast. Where all was clear and cloudless \u2014\nthick darkness spreads its gloomy shadows around; and the spirit so recently\ntriumphing in the exuberance of its bliss, is now filled with dejection, and\ngoes mourning because of the oppression of the enemy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Should it be with the reader what the prophet terms &#8220;a\ncloudy and dark day,&#8221; let him be assured that there is only One who can\nturn the shadow of death, into the morning. Christ is the light of life; his\ngracious beams can scatter the thickest mists, and restore to the downcast, and\neven to the despairing, the joys of his salvation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was not by viewing and mourning over their wounds, that the\nbitten Israelites were cured \u2014 but by simply looking at the brazen serpent. So,\nif we are for having our stripes healed, our strength renewed, our doubts\nremoved, our darkness turned to day \u2014 we must turn our eyes to Him who is\nexalted at God&#8217;s right hand as a Prince and Savior. It is his exclusive\nprerogative &#8220;to comfort those who mourn, to give them beauty \u2014 for ashes,\nthe oil of joy \u2014 for mourning, and the garment of praise \u2014 for the spirit of\nheaviness.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>John MacDuff<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SIN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following is from Spurgeon\u2019s sermon,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Smoke of Their Torments\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No. 602.&nbsp; Genesis 19:27, 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See the blackness of your sin by the light of hell&#8217;s fire!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hell is the true harvest of the sowing of iniquity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Come, lost sinner, I charge you to look at hell&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; Hell is what sin brings forth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; Hell is the full-grown child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; You have dandled your sin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; You have kissed and fondled it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; But see what sin comes to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; Hell is but sin full-grown, that is all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You played with that young lion; see how it roars and how<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>it tears in pieces now that it has come to its strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Did you not smile at the azure scales of the serpent?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See its poison; see to what its stings have brought those<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>who have never looked to the brazen serpent for healing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you account of sin as a peccadillo, a flaw<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>scarcely to be noticed, a mere joke, a piece of fun?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But see the tree which springs from it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no joke there- no fun in hell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You did not know that sin was so evil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of you will never know how evil it is until the<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>sweetness of honey has passed from your mouth,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and the bitterness of death preys at your vitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will count sin harmless until you<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>are hopelessly stricken with its sting!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My God, from this day forward help me to see through the<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>thin curtain which covers up sin, and whenever Satan tells<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>me that such-and-such a thing is for my pleasure, let me<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>recollect the pain of that penalty wrapped up in it. When<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>he tells me that such a thing is for my profit, let me know<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>that it can never profit me to gain the whole world and lose<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>my own soul. Let me feel it is no sport to sin, for only a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>madman would scatter firebrands and death, and say it is sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spurgeon, from his sermon,<strong>&nbsp;&#8220;Christ Crucified&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There was a time when I lived in the strong old<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>castle of my sins, and rested in my works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There came a trumpeter to the door, and bade me open it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I with anger chide him from the porch, and said he never<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>should enter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then there came a goodly personage, with loving<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>countenance; his hands were marked with scars, where<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>nails were driven, and his feet had nail-prints too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He lifted up his cross, using it as a hammer&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>at the first blow the gate of my prejudice shook;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>at the second it trembled more;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>at the third down it fell,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and in he came.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And he said, &#8220;Arise, and stand upon your feet,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>for I have loved you with an everlasting love.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;His free grace alone, from the first to the last,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Has won my affection, and held my soul fast.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Looking at the world through the cross!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Octavius Winslow)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus\nChrist, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the\nworld.&#8221; Galatians 6:14<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus could accomplish man&#8217;s redemption in no other way than by\ncrucifixion. He must die\u2014and die the death of the cruel cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What light and glory beam around the cross!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of what prodigies of grace, is it the instrument,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>of what glorious truths, is it the symbol,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>of what mighty transforming power, is it the source!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Around the cross gathers all the light of the Old Testament\neconomy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; it explains every symbol,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; it substantiates every shadow,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; it solves every mystery,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; it fulfills every type,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; it confirms every prophecy,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>of that dispensation which had eternally remained unmeaning and\ninexplicable, but for the death of the Son of God upon the cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not the past only\u2014but all future splendor gathers around the\ncross of our Lord Jesus Christ. It assures us of the ultimate reign of the\nSavior, and tells of the reward which shall spring from His sufferings. And\nwhile its one arm points to the divine counsels of eternity past\u2014with the other\nit points to the future triumph and glory of Christ&#8217;s kingdom in the eternity\nto come! Such is the lowly yet sublime, the weak yet mighty instrument, by\nwhich the sinner is saved and God eternally glorified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cross of Christ is . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; the grand consummation of all preceding dispensations of\nGod to men;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; the meritorious procuring cause of all spiritual\nblessings to our fallen race;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; the scene of Christ&#8217;s splendid victories over all His\nenemies and ours;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; the most powerful incentive to all evangelical holiness;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; the instrument which is to subjugate the world to the\nsupremacy of Jesus;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; the source of all true peace, joy and hope;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; the tree beneath whose shadow all sin expires, all grace\nlives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cross of our Lord Jesus Christ!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What a holy thrill these words produce in the heart of those who\nlove the Savior!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How significant is their meaning, how precious is their\ninfluence!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marvelous and irresistible, is the power of the cross! The cross\nof Christ has . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; subdued many a rebellious will;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; broken many a marble heart;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; laid low many a vaunting foe;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; overcome and triumphed, when all other instruments have\nfailed;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; transformed the lion like heart of man, into the lamb\nlike heart of Christ!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When lifted up in its own bare simplicity and inimitable\ngrandeur\u2014the cross of Christ has won and attracted millions to its faith,\nadmiration, and love!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What a marvelous power does this cross of Jesus possess! It\nchanges the Christian&#8217;s entire judgment of the world. Looking at the world\nthrough the cross\u2014his opinion is totally revolutionized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He sees the world as it really is\u2014a sinful, empty, vain thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He learns its iniquity, in that it crucified the Lord of life\nand glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His expectations from the world, and his love to the world, are\ntransformed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has found another object of love\u2014the Savior whom the world\ncast out and slew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His love to the world is destroyed by that power which alone\ncould destroy it\u2014the crucifying power of the cross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is the cross which eclipses, in the view of the true\nbeliever, the glory and attraction of every other object.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What is the weapon by which faith combats with, and overcomes\nthe world? What but the cross of Jesus!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just as the natural eye, gazing for a while upon the sun, is\nblinded for the moment to all other objects by its overpowering effulgence; so\nto the believer, concentrating his mind upon the glory of the crucified Savior,\nstudying closely the wonders of grace and love and truth meeting in the\ncross\u2014the world with all its attraction fades into the full darkness of an\neclipse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Christ and His cross infinitely better than the world and its\ntrinkets!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus\nChrist, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the\nworld.&#8221; Galatians 6:14<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The most accessible and precious spot!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Octavius Winslow)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Near the cross of Jesus stood His mother.&#8221; John 19:25<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take your place with Mary \u2014 near to the cross of Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There meet and blend . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; suffering \u2014 and love,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; sorrow \u2014 and sympathy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Standing in faith near the cross \u2014 you are near . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; the suffering Savior,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; the loving Son,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; the sympathizing Brother born for your present grief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus, in the depth and tenderness of His love, is at this\nmoment all that He was when, in soul travail \u2014 He cast that ineffable look of\nfilial love and sympathy upon His anguished mother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Likewise, He can enter into your circumstances, understand your\ngrief, and sustain and soothe your spirit \u2014 as one only can, who has partaken\nof the cup of woe which now trembles in your hand. Drink that cup submissive to\nHis will \u2014 for He drank deeply of it before you, and has left the fragrance of\nHis sympathy upon its brim. Your sorrow is not new to Christ. Stand close to\nthe cross of Jesus! It is the most accessible and precious spot on this side of\nHeaven \u2014 the most solemn and awesome spot on this side of eternity!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cross of Jesus is the focus of . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; divine love,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; divine sympathy,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; and divine power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stand by it in suffering, in persecution, and in temptation.\nStand by it in the brightness of prosperity \u2014 and in the gloom of adversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to Christ&#8217;s cross in trouble,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>repair to it in weakness,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>cling to it in danger, and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>hide beneath it when the wintry storm rushes fiercely over you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Near to the cross, you are near your Father&#8217;s heart, and your\nSavior&#8217;s side.
