What a thought!<\/p>\n<p>No more elements of evil working like leaven in the soul.<\/p>\n<p>No more traces and fetters of corruption.<\/p>\n<p>No more evil heart of unbelief, perpetually departing from God.<\/p>\n<p>No more desperate depravity.<\/p>\n<p>No more sin warring within.<\/p>\n<p>No more temptation assailing from without.<\/p>\n<p>All is perfect holiness now!<\/p>\n<p>The outline of the Divine image is complete, for the believer has awakened in the finished<br \/>\nlikeness of his Lord!<\/p>\n<p>Extirpate all\u00a0<em>sin\u2014<\/em>and you have erased all\u00a0<em>sorrow!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Complete the\u00a0<em>grace\u2014<\/em>and you have perfected the<em> glory!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>You then have chased all sadness from the heart, and have dried all tears from the eye.<\/p>\n<p><strong>That glory will be the glory of\u00a0<em>unsullied purity.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nothing of sin remains but its recollection; and that<br \/>\nrecollection but heightens our conception of the<br \/>\npreciousness of the\u00a0<em>blood<\/em>\u2014that shall have effaced<br \/>\nevery stain, and of the greatness and sovereignty<br \/>\nof that\u00a0<em>grace<\/em>\u2014which shall have brought us there.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We will be like Him!
