Have nothing to do with them!\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/kjv1900\/2%20Timothy%203.5\">2 Timothy 3:5<\/a><br \/>\nThere are a multitude of such today! \u00a0\u201dHaving a form of godliness.\u201d This means that they have a\u00a0<em>religious veneer.<\/em> They bear the name of Christ, belong to some so-called evangelical church, and seek to create the impression that they are regenerate people. But like the<em>foolish bridesmaids<\/em> of Matthew 25, they \u201ctook their lamps\u2013but took\u00a0<em>no oil<\/em> with them.\u201d These professors are neither indwelt by the Holy Spirit, nor made partakers of the transforming grace of God.<br \/>\nIt is said of them, secondly, \u201cbut denying its power.\u201d The\u00a0<em>reality of vital godliness <\/em>is lacking, the<em> beauties of holiness <\/em>are not found in them. By their lips, they claim to be godly\u2013but by their lives, they give the lie to it. \u201cThey claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good!\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/kjv1900\/Titus%201.16\">Titus 1:16<\/a>)<br \/>\n\u201cHave nothing to do with them!\u201d With such people, the children of God are to have nothing to do with\u2013but are to\u00a0<strong>shun them as they would the plague!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2014<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shun them as they would the plague!
